The sale of Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 will begin tonight at 12 PM on Flipkart and Mi.com which is billed as the 14nm FinFET architecture of the SoC and the Chinese company’s indigenous smartphone rolled out under "Make in India" program.
Launched on Thursday, January 19, 2016, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 smartphone is available in the first model of 2GB RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage that is priced at Rs. 9,999, the 3GB RAM/32GB storage model priced at Rs. 10,999, and the 4GB RAM/64GB storage one priced at Rs. 12,999.
The colors available right now are Gold, Grey, and Silver variants while Matte Black will soon be released. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has a metal body with a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel. The Redmi Note 4 has better battery capacity of 4100mAh and measures 151x76x8.35mm, and weighs 175 grams.
Instead of much-expected MediaTek Helio X20 deca-core SoC-powered variant, the Redmi Note 4 is still coming with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 MSM8953 octa-core SoC, coupled with the Adreno 506 GPU.
With dual-SIM slots, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 runs MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It has a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) 2.5D curved glass IPS display with a 401ppi pixel density.
Its rear camera is a 13-megapixel CMOS sensor equipped with PDAF (phase detection autofocus), an f/2.0 aperture, 77-degree wide angle lens, and dual-tone LED flash. The front camera sports a 5-megapixel CMOS sensor, coupled with an 85-degree wide angle lens. Storage is expandable using microSD cards up to 128GB.
For better connectivity, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 offers 4G with VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/g/b/n, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS, Micro-USB, and Infrared.
It sports sensors such as accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, electronic compass, and proximity sensor.
