Xiaomi will start its online sales of Redmi 4 smartphone prices at Rs.6,999 from 12 noon today on Amazon e-commerce site and its own Mi.Com in inaugural variants available in just two colours — Matte Black and Elegant Gold.
Here are the price details of the Xiaomi Redmi 4 in India:
Rs. 6,999 for the 2GB RAM/ 16GB
Rs.8,999 for the 3GB RAM/ 32GB
Rs.10,999 for the 4GB RAM/ 64GB
Available from Tuesday from 12 noon on Amazon India or Mi.com, Xiaomi Redme 4 smartphone is ready for pre-booking but the delivery could start some time next month, June 2017. Xiaomi is offering no discount on the main piece but giving concessional price on other related products such as phone cases and earphones.
Xiaomi Redmi 4 launch-time discounts include Rs.150 less on Mi Cases from Rs.499 to Rs.349 and on Mi Headphones Rs.99 less from Rs.599 to Rs.500 and another feature is cashback with YES Bank debit and credit cards, up to Rs. 5,000 off on GoIbibo flight and hotel bookings, and Rs. 200 credit on the Kindle app.
Vodafone is offering a 45GB free data offer for the phone while from Vodafone provided the Redmi 4 buyers buy 1GB or higher 4G data plan from Vodafone and they will get 9GB of free data for up to five recharges or monthly rentals.
The Xiaomi Redmi 4 measures 139.2×69.6.x8.6mm, and is powered by the Snapdragon 435 SoC, dual-SIM (Micro+Nano), and runs MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, sporting all-metal body and a fingerprint sensor on the rear side. It has a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display. The Xiaomi Redmi 4’s provides expandable storage via microSD card up to 128GB.
The Redmi 4 comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, and LED flash. On the front, it sports a 5-megapixel front camera with f/2.2 aperture. The connectivity options on the Redmi 4 include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB with OTG, Bluetooth v4.1, and 3.5mm audio jack. It also sports an infrared sensor which also allows it to be used as a universal remote control. It has a powerful 4100mAh battery, inbuilt.
Other features Xiaomi has been highlighting include App Lock, Second Space (for multi-account profiles), and Dual Apps (2 users of WhatsApp accounts simultaneously). Xiaomi is also providing a special beta preview of Android Nougat-based MIUI for users out-of-the-box.
