An all-metal second-generation Mi Note 2 is slated for release just for the Christmas holiday season by Xiaomi, which has reportedly made improvements to its one year old model Xiaomi Note.
As the Internet is abuzz with rumors about the Xiaomi Mi Note 2, some usual suspects have it that the new phone will feature high-end specs, which includes a 5.7-inch display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, 4GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage.
Otherwise, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is rumored to feature Qualcomm’s Ultrasonic fingerprint scanner with a 16MP rear camera with the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS on board, with 4G LTE network compatibility.
With Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 820 chipset that is likely to save the face from the discomfort it faced over the previous version will be on board. The release date is November 5, almost one month now, said GizmoChina.
The all metal model is also likely to be powered by Mediatek’s Helio X20 MT6797. One rumor said Xiaomi may do away with the 3D glass design for its metal body. Xiaomi is also planning to make it a solid lineup for Ppre-Christmas season.
