Xiaomi is again making flash sale relive its name with its new Mi 4i mobile phones going on sale at Flipkart for Rs.12,999 at 2 PM sharp and in 15 seconds all sets were sold out asking people to register again.
Though the Chinese company said that it would make these sets available on other e-retailers like Amazon and Snapdeal, today’s deal was confined to tradition Flipkart platform.
“Only registered users can buy Mi 4i. If you have registered, please login to buy the phone,” said the opening product page on Flipkart.
Its India head Manu Kumar Jain tweeted: “1st sale of mi 41 – we had offered 40K devices, Went out of stock in 15 secs. Thank u Mi fans for ur love n support.”

The main features of Mi 4i are different from its Mi 4 model with same features but downsized price and memory. Soon after the flash sale on Thursday, re-sale of Mi 4i began on Twitter. A user posted the following tweet, for instance:

Essentially, the Mi 4i’s 5-inch HD display with 441ppi, sports a higher color saturation than iPhone 6 with a laminated OGS and it comes with Sunlight Display mode using technology that allows dynamic tone mapping or keeping the image quality balanced in bright sunlight.
Another significant feature of the Mi4i is its support in 6 major Indian languages — Hindi, Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Telugu and Tamil.
With a 3120 mAh battery, Xiaomi did not compromise on battery pack despite lowering the price from Mi 4.
