Tamil actor Vijay’s most anticipated flick Puli trailer is out. The Chimbudevan directorial is expected to give SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali a tough competition.
Actress Sridevi is making her comeback in Tamil films with Puli after almost three decades. Seeing her sharing screen space with Vijay, Shruti Haasan and Hansika Motwani, will be a treat for the fans.
Above all, the action-pact sequences, energized dance performances and Sridevi’s new looks will make fans go crazy. Estimating Vijay’s fan following, the film has all the elements to beat Baahubali.
However, the teaser of “Baahubali” garnered immense appreciation which crossed 2.8 million within 24 hours after the launch. It will be interesting to see if Puli‘s trailer will be able to break Baahubali‘s record by tomorrow’s midnight.
From its thousands of CGI scenes to amazing star cast, Puli seems quite exciting and promising. While everyone is mesmerized with the visual effects and CGI (Computer Generated Imagery) of SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali, Vijay starrer Puli has more CGI scenes than Bahubali.
In all, Puli has 2,200 scenes with graphics embedded and it is touted to be much more than SS Rajamouli’s ‘Baahubali’, which has just 2,000 graphic scenes.
It will be interesting to see how people are going to accept a movie with most of its scenes are computer graphics.
However, the bigger factor is that the number of Vijay’s fan in South India far exceed anybody’s and the film’s success depends on how they watch their hero in modern hairdo unlike Bahubali, will make the cut. Since he looks modern and the film has all the traits of Bahubali‘s success secrets, it may outshine Rajamouli’s film at least in Tamil.
However, one thing is that the film Puli requires badly now is that it should receive as many positive reviews to beat Bahubali before making a huge impact in terms of box office collections.
