UGC NET June 2015 Results Declared


The UGC National Eligibility test (UGC-NET 2015) results were declared on Tuesday by the Central Board of Secondary Education E) for the written test held on June 28 across the country.

Once the page opens, candidates have to enter their roll numbers and date of birth to get the results.

The UGC-NET, introduced in 1984 has been crucial for higher studies, especially in research areas. Students are awarded the junior research fellowship (JRF) at the rate of Rs.25,000 a month along with the house rent allowance (30% in tier I cities) to pursue their research work for a period of five years.

The test is also designed for eleigibility as Assistant Professor only or Junior Research Fellowship & Eligibility for Assistant Professor Both in Indian universities and colleges.

The JRF test is conducted in 84 subjects currently in 89 cities. It is conducted twice in a year and the next UGC-NET exam will be conducted on December 27, 2015. Applications will be available online from October 1, 2015 and the last date is November 1.
