UGC National Eligibility test (UGC-NET-2015) Results Declared

The UGC National Eligibility test (UGC-NET DEC-2015) results were declared on Thursday by the Central Board of Secondary Education E) for the written test held on December 27, 2015 for 83 subjects across 88 centers in the country.

Once the page opens, candidates have to enter their roll numbers and date of birth to get the results.

The UGC-NET, introduced in 1984 has been crucial for higher studies, especially in research areas. Students are awarded the junior research fellowship (JRF) at the rate of Rs.25,000 a month along with the house rent allowance (30% in tier I cities) to pursue their research work for a period of five years.

The test is also designed for eligibility as Assistant Professor only or Junior Research Fellowship & Eligibility for Assistant Professor Both in Indian universities and colleges.

The JRF test is conducted in 83 subjects currently in 88 cities. It is conducted twice in a year and the next UGC-NET exam will be conducted in June 2016.
