Tottenham vs Manchester United
Venue –White Hart Lane
Date – 28th December 2014
Time – 5:30 PM IST
Louis Van Gaal’s Manchester United side does not seem to be putting a foot wrong this season. After a poor start, the Red Devils have come back strongly and are currently third in the table remaining undefeated in over eight games. Their push for going up the table is backed by several stellar performances as the Red devils are trying hard to reduce the seven point deficit between themselves and their noisy neighbors. They now travel to White Hart Lane to face a Tottenham side that has somewhat rediscovered their form as of late and it promises to be one hell of an offensive contest to look forward to.
Spurs were once the rejuvenated side that took the entire Premier League by surprise. They broke the ‘Big 4’ concept and gave top sides a run for their money. With some fine players in their ranks, the Londoners secured champions league spots and beat the big guns with ease. But since the departure of some key players, Tottenham has failed to recover from their loss. Tim Sherwood has somewhat steadied this ship that needs further tinkering and three back to back wins has done just that for them. Spurs are currently in the sixth place and a victory in this all important home fixture could put them right in the fourth spot.

Key factors in the match:
Rooney, Van Persie and Falcao combining has been a treat to watch over the last month. The three man striking Unit of United has wreaked havoc on most sides and will look to be no different when placed against a irregular Spurs defense.
Tottenham have been a midfield oriented side over the last few years and one player who has made the difference for them Christian Eriksen. The Danish midfielder has been their ‘deadball’ specialist over the last two seasons scoring some sensational free kicks for starters. United will be careful not to concede silly fouls with Eriksen on the prowl.
