OnePlus 2 has been brimming with tech superiority that it can take on the challenge from the best smartphones in the market today as many have claimed that it would be a “flagship killer”.
The flagship killer of 2016, OnePlus Two faces competition from competitors like Sony Xperia Z3+, Samsung Galaxy S6 and LG G4 among others and here is a look at what all these smartphones have on a platter.
OnePlus 2’s display here won’t quite stand up to the standards of the Samsung Galaxy S6 or the LG G4, but it gives eqaul competition to devices like Xperia Z3+.
As talking on processing side, OnePlus 2 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC, LG’s G4 Snapdragon 808, Samsung’s 14nm Exynos chip in Galaxy S6.
Here is a quick glance at what they stand out in specs:
However, Snapdragon 810 will have some heating issues but Sony Xperia Z3+ with a featured updated chip is tend to get little warmer than others. Performance-wise OnePlus 2 will be giving very tough competition to others but heat issues might give some disappointments.
Definitely we have to agree that OnePlus 2 comes with options of 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 3GB RAM, which clear the scenarios of heavy multi-tasking. Already we have a lot of handsets with 4GB RAM but do they really match scales with OnePlus 2?
Well not exactly, as the higher the bandwidth of the RAM the higher performane improvements when recording and processing high resolution media files show. However, Samsung Galaxy S6 comes with LPDDR4 RAM but it should be noted that this extra GB of RAM comes with 64 GB storage model only, with base model of the phones it supports 3GB.
The OnePlus 2 goes ahead with performance and bridges gap between typical Chinese phones and the premium flagships, taking a leap forward from cheaper Chinese phones perception hitherto to what rich and premium flagship devices can offer today.
However, we will rate OnePlus 2 comparing with price and performance of the device is a smart buy. Please do comment and share your views in the comments section.
