Youtube has become the place where videos, both experimental, hoax and movie trailers go viral and the month of November saw the top three viral videos from 7 million to 40 million. Here athey are:
- “Fast and Furious 7” trailer released on November 1 as a tribute Paul Walker, the race elgend who lost his life in reel-like real life, tops the November list with 40 million so far and still going high. The film, with some of the last acting scenes of Paul Walker, is set for release on April 3, 2015. Here’s the video:
- Walking Woman and Catcalls is another video published on Oct 28, 2014 by Netwrokforgood.org video showing a woman walking around the streets of New York for 10 hours facing more than 100 catcalls all the way. The video attracted more than 100 remarks, comments, justifications and, of course, ridicules. But it is not known how many of them are real. Here is the video directed and produced by Rob Bliss and titled “Hollaback!” that has attracted more than 35 million viewers.
- Another copy-cat video titled “Drunk Girl In Public,” with a description of drunk woman sipping beer from a paper jug on her rounds in LA street gets offers of more beer and room but iwas pre-meditated and a hoax that was supposedly a “social experiment”. It was posted on YouTube by creator Stephen Zhang, 20, who wanted to compete with the the 35 milllion-view Hollaback! video but it could get 7 million viewers since November 8. The actress name is Jennifer Box, 24. Watch the video here:
