Sheena Murder case took a dramatic turn on Thursday when Indrani’s husband Peter Mukerjea told Times Now that Sheena told him in 2011 itself that she was his wife’s daughter.
In his startling interview that shook the entire nation, the former Star India CEO and INX Media chief, came out with the truth that he had hidden till the day.
He told Arnab Goswami, Editor-in-Chief of Times Now that Sheena had told him as early as 2011 that she was not Indrani’s sister but her daughter. “Jiju, I must tell you that I am not Indrani’s sister but her daughter. I like you. And you know Rahul (Peter’s son) is my boyfriend and I cannot live under this misconception,” is what Peter told Goswami in a telephonic interview.
A day before, Peter Mukerjea told the same TV channel that it was his son who told him about it first but did not reveal that Sheena too had told him. Now that he has given more information, his role is also coming under scanner while the police are looking for more evidence in the sensational murder case that has gripped the nerve of the entire Mumbai socialite circles.
While throughout the interview Peter Mukerjea remained defiant that he did not believe it in good faith that his wife was telling him the truth but all viewers of Times Now were shocked at his ‘ignorance’ when told the truth and making an effort to impress his son away from the relationship, citing it was a grown up adult’s decision.
