Xiaomi’s 9th sale of its latest budget phone Redmi 1S will go for another “Flash Sale” on Tuesday but the company did not mention how many are on counter, while last time the number was about 60,000 units. The pre-registration to participate in the flash sale is over now and online e-commerce giant Flipkart will open up the sale at 2.00 PM sharp.

Unlike in the past, the flash sale is turning into a minutes-sale and the company is not foming forward to share the details of the seconds or minutes it takes the total number of phones on the online counter, reportedly due to the negative reports on its user data being in China and a rumor that IAF opposed the crew buying it though it was denied later.

Leaving aside the security concerns, Xiaomi has already announced shifting its servers for India elsewhere at Amazon servers in California or Singapore.

Otherwise, Xiaomi has announced the ninth flash sale for its Redmi 1S smartphones in India, via Flipkart on Tuesday at 2 PM for pre-registered users. It said on Flipkart: “The Redmi 1S sale begins on November 4, 2014…Registration for the Nov 4 sale is now closed. If you have registered for this sale, please Login.”
