Ravi Teja-starrer “Power” will be released not tomorrow but on September 12, said producer Venkatesh of Rockline Entertainments, though film certification by the censor board was ready on Thursday.
Originally, it was scheduled for release on this Friday, September 5. Directed by K. S. Ravindra (Bobby) first time, “Power” will feature Hansika and Regina Cassandra with Ravi Teja in double role, the film should be more on the lines of “Vikramarkudu” but Bobby was confident that it would show the “Power Unlimited” of Ravi Teja.

The film faced too many obstacles while shooting but somehow took off with the first song picturization Ravi Teja and Hansika took place at Orion Mall, Rajajinagar in Bangalore. Later, the film was shot in Kolkata and Nagpur. In addition, the film was shot in Chennai, Bangkok and Hyderabad.
Teh Bangkok chase sequence was filed at a cost of Rs.2 crore, reports said. During its last stage, in July 2014 the film’s sets caught fire due to a car blast, while shooting an action sequence at a forest area 100 km from Pattaya in Bangkok, though no one was injured.
Meanwhile, Ravi Teja’s next film and sequel to ‘Kick’ to be directed by Surender Reddy, which will also have the actor i double role, is likely to go on production soon. With a fresh script by Vakkantham Vamsi, the lead female actress is not finalized so far.
