Emraan Hashmi-starrer ‘Raja Natwarlal’ about a con man and his heist was able to collect Rs. 6 crore in box office on Friday, despite the not-so-serious direction and plot that was torn apart by critics in media and on social network websites online.
A report in Koimoi states that the film managed to get Rs 5.5 to Rs 6 crores approximately on tis opening dy with another Rs.5 crore on its second day. Bollywood Life says the earnings were Rs.11 crore in two days. Fall in Saturday box office was in the range of 15 to 20 percent, compared to Friday, mainly attributed to word of mouth and bad reviews in media.

The film features Pakistani actress Humaima Malick and was released on Ganesh Chaturthi but the timing was not able to pull off the film, though earnings will not be dismal to dismiss the actor and his onscreen love-scenes, which are the major attraction.
According to the box office reports, “Raja Natwarlal” is far behind his earlier box office record, trailing somewhere in the seventh position. Emraan Hashmi’s “Raaz 3” earned Rs 10.47 crore, followed by “The Dirty Picture” Rs 9.54 crore and “Jannat” Rs 8.52 crore, according to Bollywood Hungama stats.
