Raashi Khanna Visits Children at Cancer Wing of Rainbow Hospitals

Actress Raashi Khanna attended a get-together event for the Cancer survivors on International Childhood Cancer Day on February 15 at Rainbow Children’s Hospital in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. She distributed prizes to the kids and spent some time with them, said hospital authorities.

Raashi Khanna made her debut in Telugu with the film “Oohalu Gusagusalade”, and acted in a cameo role in Manam (2014), then in Bengal Tiger (2015) and Supreme (2016). She is a known fan of Mahesh Babu, who is the brand ambassador of Rainbow Hospitals and no wonder she is among those who had enthusiastically visited the children at the hospital.

Telugu actor Mahesh Babu is the brand ambassador of Rainbow Hospitals since last year and was a patron for over seven years. Last year, at the event when announcement was made, Mahesh Babu said, “Rainbow Hospital has set benchmarks in childcare and are well known for their efforts to provide high standards of health care for children. I would like to commend their commitment in providing world-class health care services for new born babies and children.”

Inaugurating the Vijayawada centre of Rainbow Hospitals, Mahesh Babu had acknowledged his long-time association with the group for the past seven years, that is from the time his son Gowtham was born and he was well-taken care of during his initial days after birth. He said the Rainbow Hospital also took care of his daughter Sitara who was born in July 2014.

Starting Hyderabad, the paediatric care provider Rainbow Group has branches in Bangalore, Chennai, Bangalore and Vijayawada while it is planning to expand its reach all over the Southern States. It had raised Rs.100 crore in funding in 2013 from the UK-based development finance institution CDC.
