British Princess Kate Middleton, who is seven-month pregnant, has been rushed to hospital recently, after she suffered severe Braxton Hicks contractions, revealed some reports.
Kate Middleton was rushed to the hospital on unconfirmed date recently, reported Hollywood Life quoting Star Magazine.
The March 9th cover of Star Magazine is plastered with a photo of Prince William’s wife Kate Middleton in pale with the headline:“Breaking News: 7 Weeks Early! Kate Rushed To Hospital. Palace Orders Media Blackout. Hospital prepares for premature birth, Prince William rushes to her bedside.” The magazine is yet to hit the stands.
Otherwise, the princess, who is into her second pregnancy was to give birth in the month of April but now expectations are high that she may give birth sooner than expected to a baby girl.
Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, complained of abdominal pain when Prince William was reportedly not with her and the palace staff took her to the hospital where she was treated for Braxton Hicks contractions, which caused her severe pain that she “was doubled over in agony,” said a source to Star magazine.
Kate Middleton has been put through all the tests to determine why she had experienced contractions but the doctors could not connect the real cause, said the source. “At first they thought she was in labor, but her contractions weren’t regular enough to warrant them preparing for birth,” the source told the Star magazine.
The source also said doctors have not considered contractions as warrant for an early birth of the child and she was treated and sent back home in less than 24 hours after she was admitted.
Otherwise, Kate Middleton has her engagements fixed till March 11 before she goes on maternity leave. Her her last public appearance would be a visit to Margate in Kent, a visit to the Turner Contemporary art gallery and a stop over at the seaside town’s Resort Studios, said British media.
It remains to be seen whether the princess would finish her engagements or opts for rest at home at a time when her husband Prince William is in Japan on a state visit.
