‘PK’ Next Song ‘Love is a Waste of Time’ Keeps Wide-Eyed Aamir Khan Glued to Anushka

With the release of Aamir Khan-starrer ‘PK’ second song “Love is a Waste of time” with Anushka Sharma, some suspense over the theme has been removed about the central theme being a romantic thriller.

One striking feature of all the posters and the songs so far point out that Aamir Khan has really put up that wide-yed face throughout, perhaps kept himself on clips for long to achieve the really challenging act showcasing a Bhojpuri-speaking villager from Bihar.

Anushka Sharma, who begins with her first task for a project or report as a student of journalism in Delhi will meet the wide-eyed “Buddhu”, who takes her to Fatehpur Sikri and the surroundings in search of some story idea or content.

See the video below written by Amitabh Varma, sung by Sonu Nigam, Shreya Ghoshal with music given by Shantanu Moitra.

Published on Nov 13, 2014, the video is really doing well than the first one and so far reached half-a-million mark with 522,053 visitors so far. Released on T-Series, the song has similarities to Aamir Khan’s duets in his earlier films like “Zoobi Doobi” in “3 Idiots”.

With her different hairdo, Anushka too looks different for the film. PK or Aamir Khan with his eye-brows always raised above in astonishment, surprise and curiosity showcase the features of a village boy coming to Delhi and finding the wonderful and the cruel world.

For the first time, Delhi Metro and the historical places in and around Delhi make an appearance in the film. Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the film has been produced by Vinod Chopra Films and Rajkumar Hirani Films in association with UTV Motion Pictures.

“PK” will be released on December 19, ahead of Christmas holidays to make it ideal for both overseas box office collections and in India with the winter setting in and giving the cozy surroundings for film-goers to enjoy the film.
