Oppo A57 smartphone by Chinese maker that had hit the Indian market at Rs. 14,990 on February 3, 2017 has begun rolling out discounts worth Rs.1,000 with the new price going at Rs.13,950 in Oppo stores all over India. Last week, the smartphone was launched in Pakistan too.
The selfie-focused smartphone has a 5.20-inch HD LCD display with a 2.5D curved glass and a resolution of 720 pixels X 1280 pixels, powered by 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor, sporting 3GB RAM.
With 32GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 256GB with a microSD card, the smartphone has been recommended for selfie-centric users who can use its 16-megapixel front shooter for selfies. A 13-megapixel primary camera on the rear is equally good for long shots.
The Oppo A57 runs Android 6.0 and is powered by a 2900 mAh non removable battery, which measures 149.10 x 72.90 x 7.65 in height, width and thickness. the smartphone weighs 147 grams. The Oppo A57 has a fingerprint scanner on the physical home button in the front.
The Oppo A57 can accept dual Nano SIM cards and the connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, USB OTG, FM, 3G and 4G. Basic sensors provided on the phone include Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.
The phone will be available in Gold colour variant and in all leading offline retail and online retail stores like Flipkart, Snapdeal and Amazon. It Chinese price is slightly above at CNY 1,599 (Approximately Rs. 16,000) and in Pakistan at Rs. 24,899.
