This single marked the first single without Zayn Malik who only left the band in March after five years.
After the departure of the 22-year-old, the remaining boys – Louis Tomlinson, 23, Liam Payne, 21, Niall Horan, 21, and Harry Styles, 21, vouched to stay together and be even stronger as a band. And this new single, albeit is a tinge different from their past numbers, is definitely getting well appreciated by their fans a.k.a directioners.
The single is quite edgy and has got a rockier tone, though nothing like “Midnight Memories” or “Rock Me” – the bands past songs that were also inclined to the rockier side. The single also stands as the band’s first single from their new and fifth album, set to release in November, this year.

The single comes off 24 hours after Zayn Malik declared on his twitter account that he has signed a new solo record deal with RCA, claiming this to be the moment for him to show everyone who he really is.

One Direction since formed on X-Factor UK in 2010, has taken the globe by a wind, topping the charts and getting their names inked in the record books.
Their debut album “Up All Night” straight away went to number 1 in the U.S – something that even the mighty Beatles couldn’t achieve. Subsequently, all of their albums until now – Take Me Home, Midnight Memories, and Four also topped the charts in U.S Billboard 200 albums.
Last year, their boss, Simon Cowell whose record company the boys are signed with and who also brought them together as a band (five-piece back then, remember) on X-Factor talked about the boys splitting up soon.
In a report by MailOnline, he said: “Bands don’t stay together. I think they will make at least two more albums together [after the current one]. Bands don’t stay together forever.”
Following his prediction in August, 2014, Zayn who wasn’t much anticipated to leave the band against curly-haired Harry, did actually leave the band.
Nevertheless, keeping all the anticipations aside at present 1D seems to be on the roll and nobody can “drag them down”.
