The audio launch of Nani’s next film was held in Kakinada on Saturday, on occasion of Sankranti amid fanfare and high-octane appreciation from the industry heavy weights.
The film, presented by Dil Raju, titled “Nenu Local” has ‘Attitude is Everything’ as the tagline. Nani, Keerthy, Dil Raju, Sirish, Devi Sri Prasad, Naveen Chandra, director Nakkina Trinadha Rao, Dorababu, writer Sai Krishna, dialogue writer Prasanna Kumar and other members of the film’s unit joined East Godavari Collector Arun Kumar and Municipal Commisioner Alim Basha to unveil the film’s music.
Prasanna Kumar, who wrote the dialogues for the film, said, “I had studied Engineering in Kakinada and remember Arya as the first film I watched here. It was at that moment that I wished to be able to work under the Dil Raju banner some day. It took eight years to fulfil that dream. And it’s a happy moment to be here to attend the first ever audio launch happening in the city. When Nani agreed to be a part of Nenu Local, only I know how tensed I felt. Me and Trinadha Rao have developed a good wavelength over time and if I become a director, I’d like to work like him. I also want to thank Siris hand Harshit garu for the chance.”
Speaking at the event, Naveen Chandra said, “Dil Raju garu had released my debut film Andala Rakshasi. And now, coming back to his banner for Nenu Local feels amazing. I really want to thank Prasanna garu, Trinadha Rao garu and Bekkem Venugopal Rao garu for trusting me with this role and thinking that I am apt to play the part. This is my second film with music director Devi Sri Prasad garu. The cinematogpraher, Nisar, has been instrumental in making me look great in the film. Everyone has put in a lot of hard work on the film and the result is for all to see soon as we hit the theatres.
Producer Dil Raju shared, “Character-based love stories like Idiot and Arya are films I really like. And a character with the main theme as ‘Attitude is everything’ is going to be a treat for sure and also an indicator to what the film is going to offer. Nani and Keerthy have done a great job in the film. Nani has really come ahead with his own efforts and this film is the sixth after five consecutive hits. This will give him a second hat-trick. The unit members of Cinema Chupista Mama have worked on this film. DSP has scored amazing tunes. The film will release in February. This month Shatamanam Bhavati was a success and next month Nenu Local will follow up this success streak for us.”
Keerthy Suresh said, “Dil Raju, Bekkem Venugopal, Harshit and Sirish, thanks to all of you. Working with Trinadha Rao garu will be an unforgettable experience for me. Nisar’s cinematography has made every frame beautiful. After Nenu Local, this is the second time I am in a film with tunes by DSP and I have to say he has given some wonderful tunes yet again. I am happy I got to work with a great team because of this film.”
Nani, in his reply, said: “I don’t really know what I can say about this film. But I’d say for sure that you should experience the film. Soon, in February, we intend to release the film and we’ll disturb everyone! Me and Dil Raju garu have been planning a film since very long and it has worked out now finally. It’s only because of him and his team that we were able to make a good film. Naveen Chandra is a hero but still agreed to be a part of this film by means of an important role and I want to thank him for the same. Trinadh garu, Prasanna and Sai Krishna have come up with an interesting story which will keep everyone entertained from the start to the beginning.”
The film’s music composer, Devi Sri Prasad, the star of the evening, said, “If the film is under the Dil Raju banner, the film is a hit for sure! This is my sixth collaboration with him and I am sure this film will be a hit too. I really like Nani’s timing, and feel he is a brilliant actor. Keerthy has done a great job too in this film. I wish Prasanna, Sai Krishna and Uday really supported in making this film what it is today.”
