Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on a whirlwind tour of the US with his meeting schedule drawn tightly with speeches at the UN General Assembly on Saturday, followed by about 35 meetings in total, besidees meeting 36,000 NRIs at Madison.
Though he is on fast owing to Navratri festival during the trip, he will nonetheless, take part in all the parties hosted in his honour including the one by US President Barack Obama.

Indian ambassador to US S. Jaishankar will be hosting a dinner where Modi will meet some top non-resident Indians, including top Indian media men.
Meeting with Nikki Haley, governor of South Carolina.
Breakfast with 11 chief executives of some of the top US companies, including Eric Schmidt of Google, Indra Nooyi of PepsiCo, Ajaypal Singh Banga of Mastercard.
