Miss Spain Mireia Lalaguna Royo, 23, winner of Miss World 2015 at the beauty pageant held in Sanya in China on Saturday evening, wishes to go into the past if she has super powers.
Spain won the crown with Russian contestant being the runner up in the pageant and the top 5 finalists included the number three Indonesia and Lebanon and Jamaica came next in the row.
Mireia from the city of Barcelona, the famous city of Olympics in Spain and she is a student of pharmacy and she wants to specialize in nutrition and dietics to find alternative health solutions to orthodox medicines.
“Barcelona is one of the most beautiful and exciting cities in the world. An Olympic city characterised by the kindness of its people and the Mediterranean gastronomy. The buildings, many the work of Gaudi, will blow you away.”
Mireia says she will be happy with music and travelling. A skilled pianist she studied up to grade 8 in Musical Language, Harmony and Piano at the Conservatory of the Lyceum of Barcelona.
Mireia has travelled extensively over Europe and the Far East. In her spare time Mireia likes to run, to read and to go skiing in the winter.
A staunch follower of Youtube, she says she would invite Buddha for dinner, if given a chance. “After visiting India, Vietnam and Cambodia, I’m interested in Buddhism, a religion based on the control of the inner energy, to find happiness through the connection of the soul and the body,” she said.
In fashion designing, she would like to work for Rosa Clará, a Catalan designer who is able to create fairytale dresses and prefers Mascara for make up.
When asked what she will do after becoming Miss World, she said:”Miss World is more than a beauty contest. I want to be an ambassador for the complete woman and be able to show the world that beauty is more than an external aspect.”
