As expected, Micromax has unveiled its new Canvas mobile phone called Nitro A310 priced Rs 12,990 on Monday, September 8, starting online sales via Snapdeal.com.
Nitro A310 runs on Android kitkat 4.4.2, not on Android One as some rumours speculated last week. One specific feature of this device is that it is designed with the faux leather back similar to Galaxy phones. Front side resembles the usual plastic and glass front.
Other features include a 5-inch HD 720p IPS display with oleophobic coating, 1.7 GHz Tru-Octacore MediaTek processor, 2GB RAM, Quick Access App Suite 13 MP AF Rear Camera 5MP FF Front Camera, 32GB Expandable Memory, and available in Mesmerising Blue and Pristine White colours.
Powered by a 2,500mAh battery, Micromax assures that the device delivers up to 10 hours of talk time and 320 hours of standby time. The device faces tough competition from Motorola’s latest Moto G launched last week priced Rs 12,999, exclusively via Flipkart. Motorola has upgraded the device to 5-inch display and an 8MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera and running on Android 4.4.4 KitKat.
In addition, Micromax has included a number of software upgrades such as Smart Alerts, Trending Apps, Camera Widget, Smart Gesture, BlinkScreen.
