Micromax Launches Latest Budget Tablet Canvas Tab P666 Priced Rs.10,999

Indian budget phone maker Micromax has added one more device to its long list of gadgets with today’s launch of a new Intel-powered 8-inch Android tablet Canvas Tab P666, priced entry range level at Rs 10,999 to be available from November 29.

The tablet measures 7.9mm thick, weighs 310.5grams, with an aluminium rim on edges and the colour choice is magnetic black or white. Micromax Canvas Tab P666 features an 8-inch WXGA (800x1200p) IPS display, with a 1.2GHz Intel Atom Processor Z2520 and 1GB RAM and sports an 8GB internal memory with a slot for a microSD card to be expandable up to 32GB.

The Canvas Tab P666 tablet runs on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system and has a 5MP rear camera, capable of capturing full HD video, and a 2MP front camera for selfies. The latest Micromax tablet also comes with a 4400mAh battery that the company claims to provide up to 15 hours talk time and 325 hours on standby mode. The device supports 3G for both voice calling and data, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. In addition, the tablet comes pre-loaded with apps like Bookmyshow, Hike, Swift Key keyboard, Dr. Safety virus scanning.
