Media Go Merry Ahead of CBSE Class 10 Results

Since CBSE Class 12 2016 were declared last week on Friday, May 21, 2016, numerous reports in media without quoting CBSE but several others ources have appeared guessing that the Class 10 results of CBSE would be published today, May 27, 2016. While the Central Board of secondary Education is silent over the brouhaha ahead of the declaration of the Class 10 results, the media is going heywire over the possible declaration date.

"CBSE 10th Board Result 2016 likely to be announced on cbse.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in on May 27", said DNA report repeatedly giving all other SEO-friendly stuff to cater hapless students with compulsory views generated.

Not left far behind, Zee News quickly adds another story saying, "CBSE Board Class 10th Results 2016, CBSE X Board Result (cbse.nic.in) to be declared on May 30 not on May 27" and follows it with its own exclusive on why it is so.

Pitching for a middle-path, Financial Express puts out another story online, "CBSE 10th result 2016: Top 5 crucial FAQs to know ahead of declaration, check cbseresult.nic.in, cbse.nic.in" and all the three headlines are misusing SEO-algorithm while Google News blinks away.

Earlier, the website links are given inside the text of the news story but now they have become part of the headlines to fool the Google Bot. All possible SEO keywords are stuffed in the headlines itself despite repeated Gooogle News warning that such headlines will be penalized.

Ultimately, they know that Google wakes up only Panda is rolled out sometime in October. Otherwise, this time the CBSE will provide digital mark sheets for the results of 2016, which means they will be uploaded on DigiLocker at www.digilocker.gov.in and the password will be sent to each student via SMS on their mobile number registered with the Board for CBSE Class 10th Board Results 2016, said statement.
