Manchester City vs Crystal Palace
Venue – Etihad stadium
Date – 20th December 2014
Time – 6:15 PM IST
Red hot Manchester City host Crystal palace in Saturday’s early Barclays Premier League kick off match as Pellegerini and co will look to extend their formidable winning streak. City are unbeaten in their last six games winning five on the trot. They will equal neighbors United on the winning note if they get the better of Palace on Saturday and that looks to be the case as well.
Pellegrini has some injuries to worry about with both Edin Dzeko and Sergio Aguero, City’s key strikers out injured. The onus will lie on his midfielders to cause the penetration and City boast of a fine bunch of them. They remain favorites considering their bench strength and the fact that it is a home fixture for them as well.
Palace looked a done side in the first half of the season before finding some good form to emerge out of the dreaded relegation zone. But lack of wins will what will be a concern to Neil Warnock and company. His side have managed to pick up only six points from as many fixtures and the run of games also consist of a fine win over Liverpool.
Palace must play fearless football like they did against Liverpool and Warnock will only feel blessed with Aguero out of the attack. They have had far too many draws to boast of in the recent past and a win against City will feel like gold dust.

Key factors in the match:
Dwight Gale and Frazier Campbell have been in fine form for Palace and the duo will be expected to cause a few problems in the City defense. With the absence of Kompany, their talisman defender, City look a little edgy.
Yaya Toure has hit purple patch and there seems to be no stopping the Ivorian bull. He has been City’s maverick midfielder and is expected to net a goal in what is already expected to be a goal fest.
