Lungi Dance is not new in Telugu films though for Bollywood, its insertion in “Chennai Express” featuring Shahrukh Khan and Honey Singh made the difference.
But leaving it aside Chiranjeevi or his nephew Allu Arjun who played to the gallery in the past, Nandamuri Balakrishna’s fans will be surprised to see their star dancing to a song in lungi in upcoming film, “Godsey”.
Director of the film Satyadeva is upbeat that the elder actor can still give his young counterparts a run for money.
“We recently shot a song featuring Balakrishna in a lungi. It has come out extremely well. I don’t think any other actor can dance so well at his age. He can still give tough competition to the younger flock of actors,” Satyadeva told IANS.
“We’ve completed about seventy percent of shooting. We’re planning for release early next year,” he said about the film, which also stars Trisha, Radhika Apte among others. The film, being produced by Rudrapati Ramana Rao, is alikely to released next year.
Balakrishna or Balayya, as he is known to his fans, gave similar treat to his fan in the film “Legend”, which was a success early this year.
