Legendary leg-spinner Shane Warne was seen at the training ground in Dhaka on Wednesday, two days before the semifinal with India.
The next semifianls of the ICC World T20 will be held on Thursday and Friday.
"We were all surprised to find him at the nets. May be he was getting bored at the hotel and came over to have a bowl," said batsman Hashim Amla.
Warne focused mostly on Imran Tahir to get his act right against the unformidable Indian top-order team with the likes of Virat Kohli and Yuvraj Singh.
It was about 11 am when Warne appeared at the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium enquiring whether the South Africans have done with their batting and bowling. Then he joined the onlookers at the VIP lounge and watched the spinners. He was seen speaking to Tahir, while watching JP Duminy Aaron Phangiso.
He might have dropped in at the invite of Allan Donald, who is the South African bowling coach and his erstwhile rival and friend. After a while, Warne was seen bowling a few deliveries to Quinton de Kock at the nets.
When the local media arrived, Warne evaded any queries and walked away.
