Lava has launched an affordable smartphone called Flair Z1 in Indian market that suits the the middle-range market costing less than $100. The handset features a 5-inch FWVGA display with a 854 x 480 pixel resolution and is priced at Rs 5,699.
Flair Z1 is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB RAM. It comes with a 5MP rear camera with LED flash along with a 2MP front facing camera.
With company claiming Lava Flair Z1 as a powerful gaming device, the phone runs on the latest Android v5.0 Lollipop which is packed with a 2000 mAh Li-ion battery. Lava has claimed that Flair Z1 will give 15 hours 30 minutes of talk time on 2G network and around 10 hours of talk time on 3G.
The Lava Flair Z1 is also equipped with WiFi, micro USB 2.0 port, GPS, WiFi Hotspot, Bluetooth 2.1 and a 3.5 mm jack. It also has 8GB of internal memory and Flair Z1 is expandable up to 32GB.
The device, offered in black and white colors, will be available in national retail stores and multi-brand outlets. The users can also get this handset on Snapdeal starting July 30, 2015.
There is not much competition for Lava’s Flair Z1 which is priced at Rs. 5,699. Recently, Motorola slashed its rates by Rs. 1,000. Now the 3G version of the phone costs Rs 5,999. and the other specs are almost some.
Some other handsets like Karbonn Titanium Dazzle 3 and Xolo Prime also offer similarly priced phones with similar specs. Micromax and Spice also have priced their smartphones for around Rs. 6,000.
