British media never takes breather from covering the royal family and if it is involving the queen, then there is no limit either.
Prince William’s wife Kate Middleton is now reported to be in a feud with her royal grandmother-in-law, Queen Elizabeth II.
Life & Style magazine, in its forthcoming July 14 issue said Kate Middleton, 32, currently carrying their second child, was “Tormented by the Queen,” and that she had to move son Prince George, the third-in-line to the throne, out of London.
The magazine, covering the issue on its cover page, said Kate Middleton endured months of bullying about her parenting, overspending and wardrobe malfunctions but now she says firmly,” I’ll raise my kids in the country,” the report said.
But no such feud ever appeared in the public, L&S said insiders say they have been privately feuding ever since her wedding to Prince William three years ago. “She feels very embarrassed by Kate,” said the report quoting an insider. “She feels like she still acts like a commoner.”
Unlike in the past when arguments behind palace doors were suppressed, media is quoting too many sources giving out details about the royals being at “at war,” the consequence of which is that Middleton had to move both Prince William, 32, and Prince George, 11 months, out of their Kensington Palace in London to Amner Hall in Norfolk.
The entire episode took a new turn with the media going out of its way to list the kind of rows the royal queen and the queen-to-be are facing currently.
When Kate Middleton was made out a fashionista by the press for her elegant dress sense, the queen was not so happy. “Some of Kate’s behavior mirrors Diana’s behavior and personality traits as well, and the queen doesn’t like it at all,” L&S quoted a source as commenting.
Secondly, when the house shift was initiated, the queen was upset. “Kate’s breaking all the rules, and it’s sent shockwaves through the palace,” the supposed insider told the magazine. “The queen feels its important for William, Kate and George to be based in London, but Kate is completely going against her wishes.”
Unlike Diana, Kate Middleton is not backing down on any issue concerning her husband and son. Now that she is reportedly pregnant again, and the future king Prince George’s first birthday on July 22 is just few weeks away, the palace shift is rasing many eye brows in London.
