JEE (Mains) 2016 Results Out, Cut Off Down This Year

The Joint Entrance Examination or JEE (Mains) results were announced on Wednesday evening and all those students who scored 100 out 360 marks were declared eligible to take the JEE (Advanced) Exam that will be held on April 22.

Compared to last year, the cut-off marks of JEE (Main) went down from 105 in 2015 to 100 in 2016 for general category students, while the cut off marks of OBC reached 70, the cut-off marks in the Scheduled Caste (SC) category is 52 and for the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category it is 48.

Now that JEE (Advanced) ranks are considered for admission into varius NITs and IIITs, a separate rank list of JEE (Main) will be declared by June 30 to enable students seek admission to BE, BTech, BArch and BPlanning.
