Finally, the invite and enthusiasm about Xiaomi’s upcoming smartphone ended on epected lines of the company launching the Mi 4I priced at Rs.12,999 within the budget range as written in our columns last week.
Xiaomi vice president Hugo Barra released the Mi4i phone on Thursday evening at a function in New Delhi. However, the phone will be sold on pre-registration basis and goes on sale on April 30.
The pre-registration slot will open on Flipkart from today at 8 pm onwards. It will soon open on other websites including mi.com/in, Amazon India and Snapdeal.
In addition, Burra has also unveiled Mi Band priced Rs.999 that can be used to unlock smartphones and tablets, compatible with both iOS and Android, said the man who represents Mi brand in India.
Some of its features include a 1.65GHz Snapdragon 615 octa-core 64-bit processor with 2GB RAM and based on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop out-of-the-box, it is meant for the budget range and flash sales will begin from April 30, a week later.
