The biggest TV show of the year 2013 “Bigg Boss” remains in news and controversial often with Salman Khan playing the “Bigg Boss” and the forthcoming Bigg Boss 8 will see him again reigning over the inmates of his house.
Despite several rumours on who would replace Salman Khan, he himself replaced all of them again though his demanding sum crossed more crores this time than last year’s owing to Kick’s massive success at the box office within three weeks grossing Rs.207 crore.
Confirming the news officially and ending months-long speculation, CEO of Colors TV Raj Nayak has tweeted on Wednesday: “Can’t wait for Season 8? #BiggBoss. Coming soon with @BeingSalmanKhan. Presented by @snapdeal. The Biggest Reality Show @colorstv #snapdeal.”
The rumour mill went overdrive with Salman Khan himself suggesting that his friend Shahrukh Khan would be a very good choice but SRK flatly denied to be one and refuted all the rumours.
To shoot for the promos of Bigg Boss Season 8, Salman Khan has apparently cancelled his trip to Bangkok but opted for Karjat, near Mumbai, reports Bollywood Life.
“Apparently, Salman, who is currently shooting for Sooraj Barjatya’s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo in Karjat decided to shoot the Bigg Boss promo there due to time constraints,” said the report.
With this, the new season of the show can go into production soon and is likely to be premiered by the end of this month, so the schedule doesn’t run into next year’s schedule, sources in Mumbai studios said.
The producers are currently busy preparing the final list of contestants of Bigg Boss Season 8, though controversy cannot be kept at bay for this show at least.
