Players such as talented Sanju Samson, who bats at the crucial No.3 position, has played impressive cameos and is expected to convert those into match-winning efforts. The other player is 42-year-old Pravin Tambe, who is performing better by the day. After going wicketless initially, the leg-spinner has picked up nine wickets in the following four matches to become the team’s most successful bowler. In Ahmedabad, the surface bing friendly for spinners, it should help the team.

For the Kolkata Knight Riders, it will be a bet on their batting skills than bowling in the match today. Skipper Gautam Gambhir, and players such as Jacques Kallis, Manish Pandey or Robin Uthappa should have at least a better innings this time with competition for Playoff spots getting intense. In all, the four players should stand up to excpectations and deliver. And bowlers like Sunil Narine need to get wickets, tie down batsmen and force them to take risks against other bowlers.
