Lenovo has finally launched what it claims to be the cheapest 4G smartphone A2010 in India, priced at Rs 4,990, which will be available exclusively on flipkart, and buyers need to register to buy the phone.
The phone is powered by a MediaTek MT6735m 64-bit quad-core 1.0GHz processor. It supports a 4.5-inch FWVGA TFT screen and runs on the Android Lollipop OS.
Lenovo A2010 will be available in white and black colors.
It has 1GB RAM, 8GB internal memory. A 5-megapixel rear camera with a flash and a 2-megapixel front facing camera. Memory can be expanded.
Earlier, Lenovo announced that it will start the local manufacturing of smartphones in Chennai. For the current financial year, Lenovo and Motorola will generate a capacity of six million units. The Moto E has already started rolling out from the plant and the K3 note will follow very soon.
Xiaomi has also launched its Redmi 2 Prime and started its production in Vishakhapatnam, India.
