Indian Team Announced for Sri Lanka Tour 2015; Amit Mishra Makes a Comeback

BCCI-COMMITTEESelection committee headed by Sandeep Patil announced the 15 member team for the three match test series in Sri Lanka.

Virat Kohli has been named captain of the team and Harbhajan Singh, who gave a decent performance in both Zimbabwe and Bangladesh, retained his spot. Along with Harbhajan, R Ashwin is there in the list and making a strong comeback is Amit Mishra, who is expected to  make the team’s spin attack stronger now.

As openers Dhawan and Murali Vijay retained there spot after their dominating stand in the one-off Test against Bangladesh. K.L. Rahul, who missed the Bangladesh Test match due to fever, has also been included in the team.

Chateshwar Pujara finds his way into the team along with Rohit Sharma and Ajinkya Rahane to add strength to the middle order.

Mohammad Shami and Karn Sharma have not been included in the team because of injuries, but pacers Varun Aaron, Umesh Yadav, Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, Ishant Sharma are included in the squad. While, Wriddhiman Saha Wicketkeeper-batsman comes back.
