India Considered Air Strikes on Pakistan After 26/11, Says Former Pak Minister

According to a former Pakistan Minister, Khursheed Kasuri who revealed a surprising story on how India had planned an air strike against Pakistan post 26/11 attacks.
He was Pakistan’s foreign minister during 2002-2007 under President Pervez Musharraf.
Former minister also claimed that a US delegation led by Senator John McCain had asked him how the Pakistani military would respond if India carried out a limited air raid in Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jamaat-ud-Dawa in Pakistan in retaliation to the 26/11 Mumbai terror strike.
In reply the Pakistan minister said, “if the Indians did that, the Pakistani military would give a measured response in five minutes. It could lead to a war.”
The former minister has detailed the meeting with the Americans in his recently released book — Neither a Hawk nor a Dove. The book has already been launched in Pakistan and its making its way for an Indian edition by Indian publisher Penguin in New Delhi on October 7.
