IES /ISS Exam 2014 Final Results Declared by UPSC

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the final results of IES/ ISS 2014 results on Wednesday for the exam conducted in May 2014.

In all, 14 candidates cleared the Indian Economic Service (IES) exam and 22 candidates cleared the Indian Statistical Service (ISS) exam 2014. In addition, the UPSC has also selected 2 provisional candidates for IES, and 5 provisional candidates for ISS. To check the results, click HERE.

UPSC said the candidates will be able to check answer sheets will on the official UPSC website within 15 days and will be available online for 45 days.

The UPSC notification for the Indian Economic Service/ Indian Statistical Service Examination 2014 was released on February 8, 2014 and the test was conducted in May 2014. Personality tests were conducted in June and July and August first week.

All the declared candidates in order of merit have been recommended for appointment to posts in Indian Economic Service and Indian Statistical Service.

The number of candidates recommended for appointment to different services are ervice GEN 9 candidates, OBC 2 candidates, SC 2 candidates and ST 1 candidate, totaling 14 candidates for Indian Economic Service. For the Indian Statistical Service 7 general category candidates, 8 OBC candidates and 7 SC candidates totaling 22 (including 01 PH-1 category) were recommended.

The UPSC said all appointments “shall be made strictly in accordance with the extant rules and
the number of vacancies available.”
