FlipKart ‘Flash Sale’ of Xiaomi Mi3 is Over in 2 Seconds again, Rs. 28 crore Collected, Angry Reactions go Viral

mi3 on FlipkartAgain Xiaomi Mi3 sale online by FlipKart for pre-registered users only was over in one second, proving that the malicious gang behind the scenes is upstaging the entire online shopping spirit to new levels of hoarding and lackmarketeering in India.

Opened at 2 pm sharp on Flipkart, the sale was showing sold out with hardly a second gap, clearly indicating the entire sale was pre-fabricated and misleading. It means Rs.28 crore in 2 seconds, an amazing speed to make quick money.

While, Xiaomi was happy announcing its another phone Redmi 1s for sale again on Flipkart for Rs.5,999 from Sept. 2, many readers were angry with their comments and reactions, prompted by rejection of their attempt to buy the Mi3 phone online as it is not available elsewhere, except on e-Bay and OLX but priced almost double the sale price.

So far,  Xiaomi has sold 80,000 units of its Mi3 smartphones since its launch on July 22 and barring the first day sale, which took about 40 minutes, all its consecutive sales registered a flash sale within a few seconds after it opens at 2 pm. Since, nobody claims to have got it in one or two seconds, suspicions of fraud are circulating online in social networks.

Otherwise, the Xiaomi Mi 3 is known for its rich features matching any Samsung mobile phone worth Rs.25,000 or double its price online. It runs on a tweaked version MIUI of Android 4.4 KitKat, with a 5-inch full-HD LCD display (1080×1920 pixels) offering a pixel density of 441ppi. Powered by a 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 (MSM8274AB) processor, Mi3 has 2GB of RAM and Adreno 330 GPU and an inbuilt 16 GB storage, but does not provide the expandable memory feature.

Mi3 also sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with a dual-LED flash and a 2-megapixel front shooter for selfies and it is notably the first mobile phone to have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset but priced below the Rs.15,000-mark. In fact, its last week flash sale was completed within 2.4 seconds, and prior to that it was sold in 2.3 seconds, creating history in online retail marketing.

For those who are not happy with Mi3, there is another alternative the company is providing from tomorrow. Xiaomi will add its latest “Redmi 1” device priced at Rs 6,999 tomorrow on Flipkart. It sports a 4.7-inch 720p IPS display, with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor supported by 1GB of RAM. Redmi 1 has 16 GB internal storage with facility for a microSD card for expansion up to 64GB, besides sporting  8MP rear camera and a 1.6MP front camera.

Sandesh Shivapuram ‏@Sandesh0305 18m Xiaomi Mi3 Sale Got Over again in Seconds .. Couldn’t Buy This time too .. @MiIndiaOfficial miinpls ramp up your production lines . Dayson Pais ‏@dayson 19m Are you kidding me? Is this a scam @Flipkart ? The Mi3 phone goes out of stock in the first second itself?

  1. This flash sale of Mi3 is a scam …Prefabricated sale..I tried thrice earlier and failed …am sure it is not a bloody 10 carat diamond for free that people would tear each other apart: Its a FRAUD either to keep the hype going or because they don’t have any stocks at all …if some 50-40-30-20,000 pcs SHOW SOLD in less than a second I would surely like to meet a few of the BRUCE LEEs who were fast enough to press those buttons in a split second !!
FLIPKART is NOT EVEN FLOPKART but seem to be fraudsters !

  2. @Harsha
Dont say its true just because you purchased it.
what i feel is that they are fabricating this entire flash sale thing and only customers picked up randomly get an option to purchase.
i 100% believe this is a fabricated sale. No doubt.

  3. Who is saying that is a fraud??? I got it today and this was my first try. May be they use internet connections which opens Google search page in 10 seconds :/
