Surprisingly, Class 12 topper Raksha is from Arts stream, while science stream students generally top the exam results. The 2nd topper is Bhumi from Science stream and the 3rd toppers are Aditya & Mannat from Commerce stream. HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar called all the toppers of Science, Commerce and Humanities and congratulated them.

Maximum number of students failed in economics, followed by mathematics. Experts attributed this to the highest element of statistical ability in these two subjects.

The results were delayed due to PIL in Delhi High Court on moderation marks and now the board has retained the grace marks policy following the court directive.
