Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted the figures of the newly released Hollywood film “Fast and Furious7” in the first two days which totaled a gross of Rs.32.75 crore. saying the film’s Indian business was “Awesome”. “#FastAndFurious7 all set to emerge BIGGEST opener [Hollywood films] in India. Also, HIGHEST opener of 2015, overtaking Hindi films,” he said.
On Thursday, the opening day, saw the film collect Rs.12.30 crore, on Friday Rs.12 crore, with the total reaching Rs.24.30 crore. “GBOC: Thu 16.75 cr, Fri 16 cr. Total: ₹ 32.75 cr. India biz. AWESOME!”, he tweeted.

The latest Vin Diesel and late Paul Walker’s movie has got the best opening for a Hollywood movie in India with its release in nearly 2,000 screens in India, with dubbing done in many Indian languages.
Even Sreedhar Pillai has called it a record. “#FastFurious7 creates record opening on day 1 – Rs 16.5 Cr!”, he tweeted.
Besides Vin Diesel and late Paul Walker, the film features Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham among others in the seventh of the franchise series since a decade. It is the last film by late Paul Walker, who died in road accident in 2013, forcing the film script to be re-written and his brothers were featured to fill some scenes.
Directed by James Wan, “Fast and Furious 7” was released all over the world including India, Australia, Denmark, Greece, Hungary, Mexico, Malaysia, Pery, Portugal and Thailand.
