Everybody Hates Failure, I’m Lucky to be Successful: Katrina Kaif

The top Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif has asserted that it was natural for every actress to be successful and that she was lucky that her films box office hits.

Katrina, who had starred in Telugu film “Malleshwari” before embarking upon a huge Bollywood order that landed in her consequent box office hits like ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’, Dhoom 3 and ‘Raajneeti’, is hopeful that her next big film “Bang Bang” with Hrithik Roshan would equally be mega hit.

“Box office success does matter. Everyone wants their films to do well. As an actress one craves for that acceptance and I am super fortunate that I have not seen the other side,” she told PTI.

Currently, katrina is the reigning queen of Bollywood, replacing Kareena Kapoor, who had opted for marriage and minimized her aggressive acting career.

With her British-descent, Katrina Kaif entered Hindi film field rather hastily not realizing the inner intricacies but was able to swim through initial obstacles with help from co-stars like Salman Khan and once she was successful, there was big queue behind her for call sheets. Her next big film ‘Bang Bang’, to be released on October 2, is already sold out in the BO market.

Despite her popularity, Katrina never failed to take up challenges and her Dhoom 3 was a real challenge for her, who had gone through rigorous training in acrobatics and so is her coming film “Bang Bang”, where she had suffered some crucial hardships while shooting.

“Many times I felt while shooting for the film it is destined to be a hard journey. I got used to it. In Kashmir the terrorist attack happened and the shooting got delayed. Then I was in Spain and I was catching a flight to Prague, I got a call from my manager that Hrithik’s brain surgery will happen. The unit was already in Prague. Then we had a storm in Thailand. I also had an injury but I don’t want to talk about that but for me it was a big one. Everyone in their own way had difficulties and challenges on a high level,” she told PTI.
