Those who are good in artistic qualities and creativity can enter the contest to win Meizu m2 smartphone for Re.1, said the smartphone maker.
The contest via the #m2for1 on twitter is open for all. The contest stipulates that users should visualize where they want to see the Meizu logo and they have to implement the idea by either painting or pasting it in an unusual place and then taking a picture of it and uploading it with the handle #m2for1 on Meizu’s official India Facebook Page.
The contest will open for social media-savy people from today, December 15 to Dec. 21, 2015. Meizu smartphones are launched in India by another Chinese smartphone manufacturer Meizu, on similar features as other Chinese smartphone makers are in India. They opened their corporate office in Gurgaon recently and planning to hire 100 employees by next fiscal year.
“With 46 functional customer service centers across 33 cities in India, the Meizu HQ in Gurgaon will play a pivotal role in expanding these services to 100 cities by 2016," said its India Director David Dong recently.
Headquartered in Zhuhai, China, Meizu splashed the Indian market with its flagship phone MX5 in August and added 2 more products — the m2 note and m2. Unlike MX5, which comes with a 4.7-inch full-HD display and a 1920×1080 resolution, the Meizu m2 comes with a polycarbonate unibody design and features a 5-inch HD display covered by Asashi Dragontrail protective glass surface.
MX5 is powered by a 64-bit Helio X20 MT6797 processor paired with 3GB RAMMeizu m2 is powered by a MediaTek MT6735 SoC with a 64-bit quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz along with Mali T720 GPU and paired with 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM.
On the storage front, m2 has 16GB eMMC memory that can be expanded up to 144GB using a microSD card slot, while the MX5 expandable memory is capped at 128GB via microSD card, with initial 32GB.
Meizu m2 is otherwise, loaded with a 13-megapixel primary camera with flash and 5-megapixel front camera with FotoNation 2.0 for selfies. The Meizu m2 comes with a 2500mAh battery with 12 hours of browsing internet with screen and Wi-Fi turned on.
