Shahrukh Khan-owned Kolkata Knight Riders will take on visitors Hobart Hurricans today, Thursday at the semifinal match of CLT20 2014 at the Rajiv Gandhi International stadium, Hyderabad. The match will start at 4 PM IST.
Led by Gautam Gambhir, the team KKR saw some new performers in each of their first three matches to cross the initial finish line and becoming the first team to secure a berth in the semi-finals of CLT20 2014 season and team is upbeat with their imminent winning spree in the last 13 matche they had played inlcuding the IPL 2014 where they left for home with the trophy ultimately.
The Hobart Hurricanes, who had started their campaign with a defeat in the hands of the Kings XI Punjab, anyway bounced back winning each of their remaining three Group Stage matches and reaching the semi-finals, brushing aside other visiting teams. In KKR, Robin Uthappa has remained the top star with his consistent performance throughout the IPL and also the CLT20 season. The KKR opener has dominated the two consequent seasons, missing one match in the team’s 13-match unbeaten run and his scoring of runs need a certain re-look now.
