Latest rumor that Charlie Sheen would return to “Two and a Half Men” soon was ruled out by producers who said they were not in talks nor considering the return of the actor ever again, Hollywood Reporter said quoting Nina Tassler, CBS Entertainment Chairman.
TV Guide has recently reported that Sheen himself said that his manager and Warner Bros. Television are negotiating the return of the actor in the final season of the popular TV show.
Sheen, who played the character Charlie Harper in the popular sit com was shunted out of the show after his public quarrel with Lorre, the network, and even the studio.
Tassler clarified that the season 12 of the show “Two and a Half Men” will focus on the issue of gay adoption with Walden, who is played by Ashton Kutcher, facing a health scare. It centers around the plot of his personal crisis. “He wants to find a way to add more meaning to his life, so he decides he wants to adopt a child and in doing so, he starts the process and realizes that it’s very difficult to adopt a child as a single, straight man,” Tassler told Hollywood Reporter.
