The 2015 International CES Innovation Awards, which are presented at the closing of the show in Las Vegas, is known for its recognition for the design and engineering of consumer technology products. Set up in 1976, the program has honored many of today’s ground-breaking technology innovations.
The awards are given in 28 product categories and cover some of the most influential and innovative fields in the industry, from smart-home to wearable technologies. For this year’s awards, entries have been evaluated on their engineering and design qualities, aesthetics, functionality and uniqueness, said the organizers.
The panel of judges included an independent designer, independent engineer and a member of the trade press and “the products chosen as Innovation Honorees reflect the cutting-edge ingenuity that drives our industry forward,” said a citation. The Best of Innovation designation goes to the top-scoring product in each respective category.
This year’s honorees will be featured at CES Unveiled Las Vegas on January 4 and within the Innovation Awards Showcase at CES Tech West in the Sands, Level 2, Booth #75545.
