The results of CBSE Class 12 Exam held in March April were announced today and Delhi’s Montfort School, Ashok Vihar student Sukriti Gupta topped the list with 497 out of 500 marks, which is 99.4%.
Though delayed for over a week comapred to last year, the results have been declared just in time for several students seeking admission in several professional courses where the last date is May end.
This year, 10,67,900 candidates took the Class 12 exam as against 10,40,368 in 2015 and the pass percentage is 83.05 per cent, 2.38 per cent higher than 2015.
After the topper Sukriti Gupta, Palak Goel from Tagore Public School in Kurukshetra, Haryana baggged the second position with 496 marks and the third position has been shared by Somy Uppal from St Theresa’s Convent School in Haryana’s Karnal and Ajish Sekar from PSBB Senior Secondary School, Chennai, both scoring 495 marks out of 500.
In the differently-abled category, Mudita Jagota, a student from DAV Public School, Faridabad scored 485 marks, followed by Siddhartha Biswas from Kendriya Vidyalaya of RK Puram scoring 484 marks and Raskhit Malik from Amity International School, Noida came third scoring 482 marks.

“Schools under the Delhi region are advised to collect the results from the office of the respective Zonal office after declaration of the result. People are advised not to visit Board’s office for collection of results,” said CBSE in a statement.
