CBSe has not given the date of declaration of its Class X Exam 2017 results with anxious students and parents waiting for at least a hint at when they would be released. Usually, CBSE has always given a formal statement about the date of declaration of results for Class X and Class XII exams to ward off rumours and speculations.
Even for Class 12 results this year, the statement was given well ahead on May 26 that the results would be declared on May 28 after 1:00 pm and accordingly the results were put out at 1:10 pm, relieving lakhs of students from anxiety.
Now that the Class X results are due, CBSE has not given any statement nor confirmation on the date of Class X results yet. However, an official of CBSE had informed the Hindustan Times earlier this week that the results will not come before June 1, giving a hint that they would sometime this weekend, which could be Saturday or Sunday.
But the advance info on the website is still missing, raising eyebrows whether the results would be out this weekend or run into next week. And remember the results will not be out without prior intimation via the official website of CBSE and students are advised to keep watching it. If the website information comes today, then one can expect that the date confirmed therein is final and no need to speculate about the possible date of CBSE Class 10 results.
Unlike last year’s Class 10 CBSE exam results which were declared on May 28, this year’s results were delayed due to the elections for five state assemblies.
The results will be declared on the official websites given below:

The Central Board of Secondary Education Class X exam has been made compulsory for all students from this year after discontinuation of the older system whereby schools were allowed to hold Class 10 exam and students were given the option. This year onwards, all students will have to appear for the Board exam for Class X and the revised structure allowed 20% marks for internal evaluation.
This year, the number of students who took the exam was around 15 lakh and the pass percentage may hover around 96.3%. In 2016, the overall pass percentage for CBSE 10th Exam stood at 96.21% which was marginally lower compared to 2015’s figure of 97.32%.
