As announced earlier, the Central Board of Secondary Education announced its results after 12 noon but already anxious students were making a beeline to hit the button that the website has crashed, making access impossible.
After the Class 12 results on Monday, CBSE said it would announce the Class 10 results on Wednesday, to ward off speculation in the media about the possible results date.
But when the results are actually out, the website has crashed and unlike its earlier practice, this time the board has released the results at one go. In the past, Chennai region results used to precede others by a day or two.
However, students are advised to check the official website at http://cbseresults.nic.in/
In addition, the students can view their results at
but currently, all the three websites are inaccessible. However, those who are unable to get the results online cans get them by SMS and Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS). The board’s post-result counselling is available at 1800 11 8004 from today for the next 10 days.
This year, 13,73,853 students have taken the class 10 examination in 2015 March and 8,17,941 of them are boys and 5,55,912 are girls, from 14,047 schools.
In Class X, the overall performance will be given in the Cumulative Grade Points Average (CGPA), which is the average of grade points achieved in all the subjects under the CBSE Scheme of Studies.
