To bring in a wave of change to the ongoing arguments, controversies and quarrels, the house of "Bigg Boss 8" will receive its first wildcard contestant of this season from Dubai, Arabic singer-actor Ali Quli Mirza, who will make his Bollywood debut with the film "Roar" soon.
Ali said he is nervous about his entry into the house that has Sonali Raut, Karishma Tanna, Upen Patel, Soni Singh, Arya Babbar, Diandra Soares, Sushant Divgikar, Gautam Gulati, Praneet Bhat, Natasa Stankovic, Minissha Lamba, Puneet Issar and Pritam Singh as inmates.
“’Bigg Boss’, this year, has been really unexpected and so I am nervous about how it will work out for me. While it is true that I am familiar with some of the contestants, they have an edge over me since they have already been living in the house for over three weeks now," Mirza said. “I am only going inside with the hope of making some new friends. Let’s see how it works out,” he added.
Meanwhile, the reality show "Bigg Boss 8" inmates – actors Aarya Babbar and Minissha Lamba – have decided to bury the hatchet and become friends again. Known for acrimonious fights and verbal abuses, the tension in "Bigg Boss 8" house rose when Aarya and Minissha locked horns.
It started when Minissha confided in fellow contestant Diandra Soares that Aarya approached her to feign a relationship on the TV show to gain popularity.
When confronted by the show’s host Salman Khan, the actors had a huge showdown during which Aarya revealed that he had a relationship with Minissha in the past. But now the soaring tempers seemed to have cooled down.
Aarya sought forgiveness for his poor judgement during a task called "Gharwale Jaan-na Chahte Hai". Aarya said that he was unaware that their private conversations were common information and gave vent to an outburst.
After justifying his behaviour, Aarya apologised to Minissha and she accepted it. However, it is yet to be seen how sincere Aarya was and did Minissha actually forgive him?
The reality show is aired on Colors at 9.00 p.m.
